ITR filling dates have been extended by Central board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) for a certian Category in which they can file their returns and tax audits. This information was given by a press release by CBDT Officials.
They have also mentioned that they have to extend the due dates because there was a huge request by tax payers to extend the dates as covid amid. They have mentioned that users have complaint about few issues in new income tax portal. So the Central board of Direct Taxes decided to extend the dates of tax Audit report and also filling of ITR for a certain category.
The dates have now extended till 15th of Feb. They was a huge volume of people who were continuously twitting for this demands. So CBDT has given this last extended dates till 15th Feb to fill tax audit report and some special category of ITR also.
